I started working with horses in the 70's, working for Art Stocks Racing Stables in Colts Neck, N.J. and Ocala Florida. In the late 7o's I began working under John Hulak, a farrier who worked on Thoroughbred and Standardbred race horses. I moved on to study under Master Farrier Red Tomlinson and attended and graduated from The Florida School Of Horse Shoeing. After many years of perfecting my Art, I became a Journeyman ll Farrier.
I am a Lifetime Gold Member of The Brotherhood Of Working Farriers and I have taught at the Florida School Of Horse Shoeing. My quest for knowledge and self improvement led to study the work of Jaime Jackson and Pete Ramey.
While attending a major Equestrian Event in Jacksonville , Florida, I met KC La Pierre the founder of The Institute Of Applied Equine Podiatry which set me on a new path of learning. I later graduated from the Institute with a Degree in Applied Equine Podiatry. I am also a member of The Elite Team Of The Institute Of Applied Equine Podiatry.
